August 25, 201411 yr Bought the Just Flight - DC-8 Jetliner Series 10 to 40 (JFD-480) = 26.66CAD. Did the download, files showed as corrupted and would not allow me to install. Tried d/l again 6 times, used two different computers, one with download manager, one without. And tried Firefox and Windows IE browsers. The file size is exactly the same every time. I also turned off firewall and anti virus. Anyone else have a problem with this file, FSPilotshop download...or do you have any idea what might be happening and how to "fix" it? August 25, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hi Bryan, this may be server related on their end. Had the exact same problems a week ago with some other stuff from PilotShop. Look closely at the progress bar when the download is running, you will probably see it being interrupted at some point. Using a download manager reveals an 'unknown server error' (and doesnt work either). The next day it worked, but rather slowly. Best nuit LORBY-SI

August 26, 201411 yr Author Tried again today and still can't get a working copy of the zip file. I have yet to receive any response from FS PilotShop via email nor by phone, as I phoned them and left a message. What's up with FSPilotShop....this is the poorest service I have ever had with a distributor? I am starting to get very very annoyed. August 27, 201411 yr Commercial Member I thought to myself that they probably dont have the infrastructure necessary to pull off their 35% sale event. Getting swamped methinks, not only by downloads but customer support requests as well. I have used their ticketing system in the past and usually Adam I think it was got back to me after 2 days at most. LORBY-SI
August 27, 201411 yr I bought the Airbus X Extended through them a couple weeks ago and had the same issues. They responded to me via twitter saying it was a problem with their servers with the sale going on. I don't think I will be purchasing from them in the future, sure I saved 10 bucks but I would have rather paid the 10 bucks extra to get it the day I bought it. I have read similar issues from other people on the same subject. I feel for ya man, I had to go find a "copy" of the Airbus X Installer V.16 so I could enter my info into it. Sad we have to go through drastic measures to get a WORKING product.
August 28, 201411 yr Author Bought it on Sun, today (this morning) they admitted that it was a server problem. They provided the file to me through "dropbox" and I have since downloaded and installed and everything is now working OK. Too bad about the server issue, the whole idea of direct downloading is the instant gratification on a purchase. I have had to wait four days for a digital download.
