addons wanting to get can my pc run them? and is it a good start?

I would definitely get a yoke in addition to your Warthog, but beware the Saiteks, because I've heard of many problems with friction and stiffness, which I also experienced first hand.  I don't know how widespread this issue is, but I know it's real.  You might have to open it up and do a mod on it, right out of the box.  After that, it's a pretty good piece of hardware.
