  1. Ok thanks, yeah probably will just do flying with the aerosoft beaver and a2a c172 then go to the a2a c182 or straight to the aerosoft twin otter, thanks for the reply! now if only a2a made a beaver with accu-sim i would litterally pay $100 or more for that, amphibious version of beaver by a2a = GOLD
  2. I know about the aerosoft beaver X and think it is ok, just looks a bit dated. I was wondering if there are any other good dhc2 beaver payware/ freeware versions out there? Also i only want an amphibious version as as i fly in the PNW region and do flights with the a2a c172 but sometimes i fly to an airport that says there is a land port but only water is there anyways, if anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome. Also would love it because i fly on fseconomy alot now and need a good bush plane that i can land anywhere with a few more passenger seats so i figure use the beaver for a bit then upgrade to the aersoft twin otter, also if anyone knows if the twin otter and the beaver from aerosoft have gps with them? i am no pro so i rely on a gps alot atm. Thanks everyone and happy flying!
  3. does anyone have this? i got no replys in the hardware section i was just wondering like is it good quality, how fast is shipping does it beat the saitek switch panel? http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Panel/Model_1010/index.htm Also are they still in business? because i cant access their support link on the site
  4. I am wondering about the desktop aviators switch panel located here: http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Panel/Model_1010/index.htm And i want the 1015 one because it has beacon switch now. I am a new pilot on FSX flying a2a C172R on orbx pnw region, i have really been enjoying it so much that i wanted to explant my hardware "selection" So i got a saitek cessna yoke and saitek pro flight rudder pedals, and i just didn't like the looks of saiteks switch panel looks too unrealistic, i know it works and such but i was looking for the metal toggle switches and such, i found much more because the one above has a key ignition switch and i don't like using the mouse to access key features such as avionics and power. Now enough rambling, my question is if you own this product, what is your thought? worth $92? is it plug and play into a regular usb port? does it all work fine in fsx fsuipc? is the quality as good as it seems? nice shipping? i live in Canada and it says they ship to US and Canada so hopefully not alot of shipping. Thanks for your time also at the bottom where it says new 1015 design, idk why but it says 1015 x-plane version then under that it says 1010 fsx/fsuipc version, is it just a typo? cause i would like to have the beacon switch if i can
  5. The region seems to have installed right cause everything looks alot nicer, i get this error when launching fsx (it comes in the screen before fsx gets to the main menu after launch) SCENERY.CFG file error.Local scenery directory (ORBX/FTX_AUFTXAA_ORBXLIBS/SCENERY) in scenery area.125 not found. Click OK to continue. The error i get ^ Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum.
  6. Very nice thank you, One thing i noticed is it says "Payware" if u click on the airfield. Does this mean that the airfield will not be there if i fly to it? or does it mean i just wont have the upgraded ORBX one?
  7. I just recently bought the amazing ORBX PNW region haven't flown it much (waiting for my yoke to come in) I am new to fsx and wanted to get a good starting place for fsx so while they were on sale i got: - ORBX PNW region -REX essentials plus with overdrive -FSUIPC 4 (not on sale) - and will be getting a2a c172 after i get used to the default 172 So that was just a bit of a background, What i would like to know is what is the coverage of the pnw region? does it cover half of British Columbia and all of Washington? i am from Canada so i would love to fly in the Canada part of it but i also don't mind flying on the US side it would just be nice to know what side of the border im on. I was also wondering if anyone who flies in the region often what are the best airstrips to get familiar with for a newbie and short vfr trips between some. I am more into the GA aircraft and i don't usually want to do long flights maybe a nice 30 minutes to an hour flight. Hopefully i made sense, thanks for any responses looking forward to getting my yoke and finally flying on fsx
  8. Ok thanks cant wait for my yoke to come in play alot of combat sims but have always wanted to do some bush flying in fsx but never had the money. Now i can do it! if anyone knows any good strips in the pacific northwest region for bushplanes please let me know
  9. Was wondering if these two conflict at all and if i have to change anything in fsx to get them to work, figured i would buy them while they are cheap at fspilotshop.com and get my flight simulation kicked off with the a2a c172 and pro flight cessna yoke
  10. Is it possible to add the cessna 172 by A2A simulations or overwrite the default one that you start with in AH and put in the A2A simulations one?
  11. Does anyone own the addon air hauler? if so can you give me your opinions on it. Also if u know does the a2a c172 trainer work with it? Also is it hard to learn? or is it like Euro truck simulator 2 in the business sense if not, could someone recommend me an addon that is like Euro truck simulator 2 in the business sense. Thank you!
  12. Ok thank you for the reply i will check it out!
  13. I was bored and i though why not ask even MORE questions on here! so here i am everyone is probably sick of my spam of posts but ah well..... Anyways here it is i was wondering with the Cessna 172 by A2A simulations and other A2A aircraft if i land at an airport and tie it down and put on the wheel chocks how do i reload my last flight in it? do i load the aircraft to the last airport i landed at? will it be parked in the same spot i had it at when i ended my last flight? Or is there like a resume button for the aircraft? Now my questions on ORBX northern Rockies addon scenery, This will be the scenery i will first start out on and stay with for a while because im just going to be doing low and slow VFR flights and such but does anyone know the limits of the northern Rockies? like the limits to where the scenery ends or borders of the scenery? also if anyone knows any good small paved or dirt runway airports in the scenery that would be good for beginner flights and is not right on the border of the scenery so i don't get default fsx mixed with the ORBX scenery *shudder*. And if anyone who has the ORBX Northern Rockies scenery knows any good routes for VFR that would be not too challenging for beginners like me getting into the GA side of flight simulation. Thanks again all!
  14. Haha i sure will but i gotta try and run it pass two parents first XD
  15. Ok thanks everybody! i don't got a job yet (im 16) but im hoping i can get a bit of money for Christmas and afford the yoke and rudder pedals (pro flight rudder pedals) and a2a c172 then get: FSUIPC Saitek switch panel ORBX Northern rockies REX essentials with overdrive then i should be set for a while and if i really love it get some other saitek panels XD
