DHC@ Beaver payware? Also twin otter questions
Ok thanks, yeah probably will just do flying with the aerosoft beaver and a2a c172 then go to the a2a c182 or straight to the aerosoft twin otter, thanks for the reply! now if only a2a made a beaver with accu-sim i would litterally pay $100 or more for that, amphibious version of beaver by a2a = GOLD

DHC@ Beaver payware? Also twin otter questions
I know about the aerosoft beaver X and think it is ok, just looks a bit dated. I was wondering if there are any other good dhc2 beaver payware/ freeware versions out there? Also i only want an amphibious version as as i fly in the PNW region and do flights with the a2a c172 but sometimes i fly to an airport that says there is a land port but only water is there anyways, if anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome. Also would love it because i fly on fseconomy alot now and need a good bush plane that i can land anywhere with a few more passenger seats so i figure use the beaver for a bit then upgrade to the aersoft twin otter, also if anyone knows if the twin otter and the beaver from aerosoft have gps with them? i am no pro so i rely on a gps alot atm. Thanks everyone and happy flying!

Desktop aviator 1015 switch panel?
does anyone have this? i got no replys in the hardware section i was just wondering like is it good quality, how fast is shipping does it beat the saitek switch panel? http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Panel/Model_1010/index.htm Also are they still in business? because i cant access their support link on the site

Hi all, wondering about Desktop Aviator's avionics switch panel
I am wondering about the desktop aviators switch panel located here: http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Panel/Model_1010/index.htm And i want the 1015 one because it has beacon switch now. I am a new pilot on FSX flying a2a C172R on orbx pnw region, i have really been enjoying it so much that i wanted to explant my hardware "selection" So i got a saitek cessna yoke and saitek pro flight rudder pedals, and i just didn't like the looks of saiteks switch panel looks too unrealistic, i know it works and such but i was looking for the metal toggle switches and such, i found much more because the one above has a key ignition switch and i don't like using the mouse to access key features such as avionics and power. Now enough rambling, my question is if you own this product, what is your thought? worth $92? is it plug and play into a regular usb port? does it all work fine in fsx fsuipc? is the quality as good as it seems? nice shipping? i live in Canada and it says they ship to US and Canada so hopefully not alot of shipping. Thanks for your time also at the bottom where it says new 1015 design, idk why but it says 1015 x-plane version then under that it says 1010 fsx/fsuipc version, is it just a typo? cause i would like to have the beacon switch if i can

ORBX PNW coverage? good flight plans?
Very nice thank you, One thing i noticed is it says "Payware" if u click on the airfield. Does this mean that the airfield will not be there if i fly to it? or does it mean i just wont have the upgraded ORBX one?

ORBX PNW coverage? good flight plans?
I just recently bought the amazing ORBX PNW region haven't flown it much (waiting for my yoke to come in) I am new to fsx and wanted to get a good starting place for fsx so while they were on sale i got: - ORBX PNW region -REX essentials plus with overdrive -FSUIPC 4 (not on sale) - and will be getting a2a c172 after i get used to the default 172 So that was just a bit of a background, What i would like to know is what is the coverage of the pnw region? does it cover half of British Columbia and all of Washington? i am from Canada so i would love to fly in the Canada part of it but i also don't mind flying on the US side it would just be nice to know what side of the border im on. I was also wondering if anyone who flies in the region often what are the best airstrips to get familiar with for a newbie and short vfr trips between some. I am more into the GA aircraft and i don't usually want to do long flights maybe a nice 30 minutes to an hour flight. Hopefully i made sense, thanks for any responses looking forward to getting my yoke and finally flying on fsx

REX essentials OD and ORBX PNW region installations?
Was wondering if these two conflict at all and if i have to change anything in fsx to get them to work, figured i would buy them while they are cheap at fspilotshop.com and get my flight simulation kicked off with the a2a c172 and pro flight cessna yoke

Anyone own the addon Air Hauler?
Is it possible to add the cessna 172 by A2A simulations or overwrite the default one that you start with in AH and put in the A2A simulations one?
-
Anyone own the addon Air Hauler?
Does anyone own the addon air hauler? if so can you give me your opinions on it. Also if u know does the a2a c172 trainer work with it? Also is it hard to learn? or is it like Euro truck simulator 2 in the business sense if not, could someone recommend me an addon that is like Euro truck simulator 2 in the business sense. Thank you!

A2A Aircraft and ORBX Northern Rockies
I was bored and i though why not ask even MORE questions on here! so here i am everyone is probably sick of my spam of posts but ah well..... Anyways here it is i was wondering with the Cessna 172 by A2A simulations and other A2A aircraft if i land at an airport and tie it down and put on the wheel chocks how do i reload my last flight in it? do i load the aircraft to the last airport i landed at? will it be parked in the same spot i had it at when i ended my last flight? Or is there like a resume button for the aircraft? Now my questions on ORBX northern Rockies addon scenery, This will be the scenery i will first start out on and stay with for a while because im just going to be doing low and slow VFR flights and such but does anyone know the limits of the northern Rockies? like the limits to where the scenery ends or borders of the scenery? also if anyone knows any good small paved or dirt runway airports in the scenery that would be good for beginner flights and is not right on the border of the scenery so i don't get default fsx mixed with the ORBX scenery *shudder*. And if anyone who has the ORBX Northern Rockies scenery knows any good routes for VFR that would be not too challenging for beginners like me getting into the GA side of flight simulation. Thanks again all!

A2A Cessna 172 Trainer and Saitek Pro Flight Yoke
Ok thanks everybody! i don't got a job yet (im 16) but im hoping i can get a bit of money for Christmas and afford the yoke and rudder pedals (pro flight rudder pedals) and a2a c172 then get: FSUIPC Saitek switch panel ORBX Northern rockies REX essentials with overdrive then i should be set for a while and if i really love it get some other saitek panels XD

A2A Cessna 172 Trainer and Saitek Pro Flight Yoke
As the title sort of gives you an idea of my questions but i will detail them a bit more: The A2A c172 trainer looks like an amazing aircraft for fsx as i have read, seen, and heard if anyone owns it i would love to hear some stories or reviews on it from you guys. And i have decided to go the extra cost and get the Saitek pro flight cessna yoke as i have read post and reviews on the original pro flight yoke and it seems the saitek cessna yoke is less faulty and higher build quality for the extra cost plus i am the kind of guy who wants the high end stuff to start with so 90 degrees sounded better than the 45 degrees on the original. So if anyone owns this yoke do u recommend it and is the power supply adapter really necessary to get for it? One more question is the Saitek pro flight switch panel, if anyone owns it would you recommend it? i just feel like i would want it cause having the switches for nav lights and the magneto switch just sounds so sweet! Thanks!

Will my fsx addons work on another product key fsx if already installed on one?
but what i am saying is if i get a new fsx product key and install my addons on there will it work since i already had them installed on a different fsx product key?
-
Will my fsx addons work on another product key fsx if already installed on one?
What i am asking is i lost my product key for my current fsx but if i get addons and install them to it then one day get a new pc uninstall everything get a new fsx then re install all my addons on the new pc and new fsx it should work because i uninstalled from old fsx and pc right? sorry if it sounds confusing im just worried if i spend all the money on addons on my current product key it wont work on a new product key after uninstall on this one. P.S. sorry if this counts as hardware related i just don't have much time to post and am really curious/worried about this so i want to make sure before purchasing addons.

Just general FSX questions i would like to be answered before i get on with fsx.
Ok thank you sir i think i will go with your advice get the NRM ORBX to start then add some airports if i want to then when i get into longer trips i will get ftx global. One quick question though once i get ftx global will my rocky mountain region stay there/look the same once ftx global is installed?

FTX Global users that had GEX+UTX? Any difference for the price?
What i am asking is if anyone switched from gex+utx to get ftx global, Did you see a significant difference? I cannot decide because i want to fly mostly in Canada and probably America also in GA aircraft for low scenic flights so is FTX Global worth the money to get? Does it look nice in america and Canada? if anyone has some screenshots with ftx global or regions could you post them here to help me decide and give me your thoughts on performance. Also if anyone knows some small GA airfields that ORBX has for free or to purchase could you let me know thank you.

Just general FSX questions i would like to be answered before i get on with fsx.
I really dont know like i am kind of turned off by ftx global because of the large initial price tag where as gex+utx the regions are split up. But then i also want to get ftx global because of all the regions

Just general FSX questions i would like to be answered before i get on with fsx.

Just general FSX questions i would like to be answered before i get on with fsx.
Oh ok cool that saves me from buying any addons for that thanks very much! makes me want to get a radio panel for the yoke system lol in time maybe.

Just general FSX questions i would like to be answered before i get on with fsx.
So i just want to ask some general fsx questions and some about yoke and rudder pedals to finalize me getting into fsx before buying addons and such. 1. If anyone here has saitek pro flight yoke and rudder pedals can you please tell me what you think of the combo? i will be using the combo for mostly GA aircraft. 2. If anyone has the saitek pro flight switch panel and uses it for the cessna 172 by a2a does it work well? such as does the magneto switch work well and the master switches. 3. If anyone knows some good sort of small bush plane fields in Canada that is in fsx grass or pavement runways doesn't matter just a nice away from population kind of field. 4. i want to get REX essentials eventually and am confused if i get the REX essentials plus with overdrive can i use the control panel to change setting to make it run good on my pc? 5. in default fsx do i have to input the frequencies into the radio to use atc window? if not is there a freeware or if i have to a payware where u have to enter the frequency into the radio to be able to contact the atc? 5. Are there any programs where you can start your own business like say taking people for touring flights, or transporting cargo from one place to another and earn money to purchase new aircraft for your fleet? 6. are there beginner vatsim like networks that will be forgiving to a complete new simmer or ones that can teach you? if not anyone have any advice on how to build up that knowledge since i will not be getting my PPL anytime soon so i figured i might as well make my simming as realistic as i can. 7. Also i found a product (also by a2a called accu-feel if anyone owns it could you tell me what kind of improvement it is over default fsx and if it really steps up the realism and immersion is it worth the money? 8. what would the order of installation for these products: UTX Canada, GEX North America, REX essentials plus with overdrive, a2a accu-feel? 9. (last question) if i already have one aircraft installed (vrs superbug) will that conflict with me installing scenery? Thank you so much to all the people who have helped me out on my other posts and who will answer these question in the future i hope to stay on this forums as i improve on fsx, Happy Flying
