I consider to run FSInn but before doing so I need to find out if

 

a) I can contact ATC with text messages only ( no radio use )   Yes/no

b) Can ATC answer back using text only ?     Yes/no

 

A simple yes or no answer is appreciated.

The same is true of Squawkbox and Vpilot.

Text is still a primary communications method on Vatsim. Some pilots have disabilities which require that they communicate via text.

Some people may also have technical issues preventing voice communication, for one reason or another, temporary or long term.

All clients (including controller clients) have text abilities.
