I switched to Windows 10,installed FSX and the PMDG-737. Now I intend to select an add-on livery for the 737 and read: There is an app called PMDG Simulation / PMDG Operation Center which allows to download a livery. My problem is there is no such app ( with Windows 7 there was no problem ). Can anybody help ? HubertWerni

You win the bet ! Since I have so many things to do with the Window-10 install I got confused.The PMDG-737 is indeed in the Control Panel,but not the Switzerland Professional add on which I bought from Aerosoft.Installing this add in Windows 7 was no problem, however in Windows 10 it is another story.By doing so I get a message saying product already installed but here I cannot see it in the control panel or anywhere else on the computer. By the way I have two hard drives,one for Windows 7,the other onw for Windows 10. I then contacted aerosoft asking it Switzerland Pro is compatible with Windows 10 and got the following answer: the software is not compatible with Windows 10 (please check system requirements) but we couldnt find any error as we tried to install it here. I realize that this is not a PMDG-737 issue and does not belong to this forum but may be you have some knowledge regarding this product. Switzerland Pro is not in Windows 10 as the scenery looks different to the one in Windows 7 Thank you Hubert Werni

I installed the PMDG-737 in Windows 10 and when running it I noticed that the ND display is black and the PFD shows no indication on the speed tape and altitude tape. The engines are running and I wonder what settings are wrong to cause the above problem After installing the 737 I entered my activation code which was accepted. Another little thing: there is no entry in the control panel. Thank you Hubert Werni

I do have a Saitek Yoke and Pro Flight Rudder pedals.How can I assign a reverse thrust function as well as a reverse idle as you mention above. The included manual does not explain. Sincerely Hubert Werni

Simple answer,more realistic.I don/t think a real airplane has Saitek controls

Hello Nick unless I misunderstand your message I have to assign buttons.However this is exactly what I try to avoid getting a more real world scenario. Ex: Deploy flaps,I had a button assigned but now I use the flap lever in F9,moving it by mouse clicks.( no button assigned ) Same thing with reverse thrust,I can indeed deploy them by moving the mouse over the lever. However,the N1 must be below 22 otherwise nothing happens. As to why is another question I pursue. Tks Hubert Werni

I use FSX,Windows 7 and Saitek Yoke and Rudder. Attached is a print screen showing the thrust levers ( just beside the Flaps lever ) I can activate the reverse thrust by a mouse click on the lever,but only one at the time What I am hoping to achieve is to move both levers with a mouse click. I am somewhat "obsessed" with not using keyboard commands but rather moving the levers etc in F9 Ex: To deploy flaps,move the flap lever ( in F9 ) with the mouse Ex: To arm speed brake,move the lever in F9 Now here is my question: How can I deploy the two reverse thrusts with on mouse click.( the two levers to advance at the same time ) I have to click on one lever ( example the one on port ) and then the one on starboard. I purchased the PZ44 and PZ35 from Saitek ( using FSX in Windows 7,PMDG-737 ) Since several days I tried to set the rudder up in such a way that after pressing on the rudder pedals the plane comes to a stop. As I did not achieve it I decided to contact this forum in case somebody uses Saitek products. Saitek could not help since they are not familiar with the PMDG-737 settings. I just installed Windows 10 on my computer. After I tried to install FSX with my FSX Flight Simulator Deluxe cd. The package says Flight Simulator X Deluxe Win 32 Installing failed and I wonder if it is due to the Win32 Thanks Hubert Werni

I miss the folder PMDG Operation Folder. In order to install a livery I am supposed to go Start --> PMDG Simulation --> PMDG Operation Center The problem is that PMDG Operation Center does not show ( all folders and files are visible ) Any idea why ? Hubert Werni

At the present time I use version 1.10..3219 and I intend to upgrade to version 1.10.6461 as explained in the PMDG Operation center ( see below ) 1) Visit http://www.precisionmanuals.com 2) Log-in to your eCommerce account. 3) Click on "View Previous Orders" 4) Use this page to download the installer required. Up to #3 everything is ok but when it comes to #4 I do not understand anymore.Which installer is required ? Also I wonder what the difference between the two versions are and if I can get them using a different approach. Your help is appreciated

Do I add HIGHMEM tweak to the newly created FSX.CFG ? And what is the purpose of this HIGHMEM tweak ? Thanks again Hubert Werni

I have a problem with one software and I was instructed to reset the FSX.CFG to default,then enabling HIGHMEMFIX = 1 tweak Unfortunately I have no clue how to do this and hope somebody can give me instructions. Thank you Hubert Werni

Hello, I would appreciate if you can tell me how you set up FSX and the PMDG-737 as it seems I have too many directories and I will do a "clean up" I installed FSX in the default mode,then ( as I read one should not install the PMDG-737 but rather create a new directory ) I created a directory call FSX but for whatever reason I ended up with two FSX directories ! Therefore : 1) Where did you install FSX 2) Where did you install the PMDG-737 Your input is apprciated HubertWerni NB: due to some other computer problems I have to format the drive and reinstall all programs

By the way,mine worked too about a year ago,it seems there is a mix up with folders which causes the issue : The situation is the following : #1 PFPX EXPORTS only to : c:/FSX/PMDG/Flightplans/NGX/PMDG/Flightplans/NGX #2 The PMDG 737 coroute excepts only data from c:/CrucialFolder/FSX/PMDG/Flightplans/NGX Therefore I have to copy the flight plan If I could " force " PFPX to export to c:/CrucialFolder/FSX/PMDG/Flightplans/NGX I would be in business. Since I really like PFPX I hope to resolve this issue. HubertWerni

After a create a flightplan using PFPX I export it.By default if goes into a folder c:\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX In order to have it work in the PMDG-737 CDU ( as coroute ) I need to copy the created flightplan to a folder c\CrucialFolder\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX Therefore I wonder if I could modify the PMDG-737 so that the coroute accepts the plan from c|CrucialFolder\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX I would hate to remove everything and reinstall l from scratch Thank you for your help Hubert Werni

I installed the Saitek Yoke PZ44 and Rudder PZ35. Everything works except the brakes on the pedals.When I push the left pedal brake the ailerons activate,when pushing on the right pedals brake the elevator activates. I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask but I will ask anyway,hoping that someone uses the same system and can provide hints to solve this issue Thank You H.Werni

Whenever I try to run the PMDG-737 I get the above message and have to quit FSX. I had to format my hard drive and reinstall all program and wonder: Should I use the default directory for FSX ? And which one for the PMDG-737 ? Can anybody think of what else I should do or check ? Thank you HubertWerni

How can I change a flight plan with the extension .PLN to a file which the CDU understands and accepts ? I made flight plans using PFPX and always end up with .PLN I also noticed that those file ( .PLN ) can be opened using Notepad Your help is appreciated Hubert Werni
