September 3, 201411 yr Hello! So, guys... the weather was bad here in São Paulo and I loaded up ASN and FSX just to see how things would show up in the sim... The clouds seemed to be too high in comparison to the real-world METAR, so I closed FSX/ASN and reloaded ASN. Clicked on "Conditions" tab, typed "SBGR" and took a look at the METAR. This is what I saw: SBGR 030300Z 17003KT 9999 -TSRA BKN013 SCT035CB OVC080 15/14 Q1022 RERA WS R27LDecoded textual weather for SBGRWind: 170 at 3 knotsVisibility: 10 SM (9999m)Clouds: Overcast at 1000 feet, Broken at 9000 feet, Broken at 18000 feet, Overcast at 24000 feetTemperature: 15,0CDewpoint: 14,0CPrecipitation: Light rainAltimeter: 1022 mb (30,18 inches)Thunderstorms in the vicinityThis station includes complete surface weather information, interpolation disabled.Original metar of the stations:SBGR 030300Z 17003KT 9999 -TSRA BKN013 SCT035CB OVC080 15/14 Q1022 RERA WS R27L METAR information is spot on, but the interpretation seems wrong... Did I do something wrong? Is this a known issue? I'm really sorry if it is; this is pretty much my first time in this particular forum haha... Best regards, Gabriel J. T. September 3, 201411 yr You might want to put this over on the HiFi forum at http://www.hifitechinc.com/forums/forum.php where it'll be seen more quickly. IMHO there is something wrong with the interpretation.... DJ
