September 5, 201411 yr Hello, I have been getting 'config stabilizer' warning on takeoff recently. Then after I did some tests on the ground. I noticed that whenever I increase throttle, STAB value immediately decreases to minimum (shows -15 in FTCL), and whenever I decrease throttle, STAB immdediately jumps to maximum. It seems that somehow that vertical stabilizer is controlled by my throttle input. I have checked my control setting and they were all in good order. I have also tried re-installing PMDG 777 but it did not solve the problem either. At this point, I am running out of ideas and I would love to hear your suggestions. I do have FSUIPC installed for using other add-on programs but I did not map any key through it.
September 5, 201411 yr Hello; You say you checked the controls? Is it possible a control axis is double assigned? Have you checked to see if you have assigned the throttle axis to the stab trim down function? Have you disabled the stab trim and moved the throttle? What happened? Worst case scenario, are you able to set FSX's commands back to their default settings and start over? I know PMDG aircraft (737 and 777) have options inside of the FMC. Not sure if the control surfaces are there, but if you're out of ideas it can't hurt to take a look. Last: submit a ticket! Don't do a reinstall until you've spoke to the PMDG support desk. Thanks for your reply. I reset the realism setting to easy and the problem is gone now.
