I5 4670K 4.4Ghz OC

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

For a while now i had my I5 4670k overclocked to 4.4ghz. I had the voltage at 1.212...

For ages i never had one CTD or one BSOD for about 2 months. Then all of a sudden the last few days i have been getting heaps of BSOD. They come at any time. Sometimes when i am setting up the plane, when i begin to taxi. The only other time they happen is when im on approach which is the most annoying! Any one have any ideas why i have gotten them all of a sudden? I live in Brisbane Australia so the weather atm isnt that hot..

Kind Regards,

Jack Dutton

Not sure the exact cause but likely due to not enough voltage. I'd reset bios settings and flash the latest bios firmware for your board. To test for stability run Intel Burn Test(standard run) and P95 small fft(6 hours).- I use this method and was rock solid for 2 years on my Sandy bridge build.
