using Pilot2atc in windowed mode

this is properly a silly question when using the program in the sim how do I stop the

sim pausing every time I interact with pilot2atc window

Go to settings, un-check the "pause on task switch". That should solve your problem.

Not a silly question at all.  There is a setting that is supposed to stop pausing FSX or P3D when you change focus to another program like Pilot2ATC.  Unfortunately, I have never had any success making it work completely.  It does keep the simulator from pausing, but you lose the sound.  I just click back in the FSX window after interacting with Pilot2ATC and all is well.
