Citation X Cabin pressurization alert

Hi all-

 

I keep getting a cabin pressurization alert on my ESDG Citation X.

 

Has anyone figured out how to remedy this? Yes, I been to their forum but it was no help.

 

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Have you actually tried the "workaround" that's required when using an external weather program:

 

 

Fortunately, the workaround is easy: just set the altimeter to 29.92 until the cabin starts to pressurize (a few seconds), and then set it back to the local altimeter setting.

I thought this may have been fxed on your end as this was a long time agoand I'm assuming that I have the latest version.

Bill, I start with engines running. Should I save my default flight with 29.92?

It would probably be a good idea. I am also assuming that you are using the Automatic setting and have both bleed air valves open.

We answered, you didn't like it so running to Avsim will not change the answer. We don't do support over there, just here.

When you get a minute Ron, either grab a dictionary or Google the word TACT.

 

If you can't manage that, try to get close to Bill and maybe some of his will rub off.

No luck Bill.

 

Set default BP to 29.92 and saved as my default flight, restarted. Loaded flight at KLAS, waited a few minutes while  loading fpl KLAS > OAL > KSFO, reset BP tp current 29.77 from ASN.

 

~Ten minutes into flight at FL240, warning goes off.

 

Everything seems as it should be...

Mark, I'm going to download and install the CX later today so I can investigate some other issues that have arisen. I'll be sure to check out the pressurization system while I'm at it.

There was known issue with a bug in a weather addon. The bug would give false readings and throw off default as well as our CX. All this from memory if I recall correctly.

The simple fix for me would be to comment out the gage and it's commensurate warning although I don't know if this is tied to another function in the aircraft.

 

Now, where's that gage located :>)

It isn't "a gauge" at all, it is integrated into a system gauge.
