Hi, I would just like to know what the thoughts are on REXESS and ASN weather engine as I am using REXESS/OD textures only and ASN weather engine so should all the weather settings be unchecked in REX as to not create any conflict with ASN?, if you dont use REX weather engine does it matter?.

REX Essentials can be used to just supply textures, or supply textures and weather. With ASN you want to turn off the REX weather engine or simply not start the program. You only need to load textures into the sim once and then just use ASN as your weather engine.

REX simply changes how things look, not how they act. ASN tells the simulator where to put stuff (clouds/rain/snow/fog), ASN is simply the very best you can have in regards to weather with FSX.
