Aerosoft Flight Recorder

Hi All,

The wonderful Twin Otter Extended by Aerosoft includes a splendid (and rather overlooked) utility called 'Aerosoft Flight Recorder' which allows the user to play back flights in Google Earth amongst other things. (I believe it also comes with their Airbus X but I don't have that one.)

Just wondered if any knowledgeable folk here had experimented with using it with other aircraft in their hanger? I'd like to be able to utilize it to record flight data from other FSX add-ons. There's a gauge in the DHC-6 which is used to turn on the recorder, so presumably it would be possible to create a little standalone 2D pop-up gauge to do the same thing?

The recorder interface includes a bit which says 'most flown aircraft' and so on, so I guess it's designed to be adapted to different types.

Thanks,

Nick
