Performance issue/My specs

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I am new here and wanted to see if someone could help me get more performance. I am very sluggish around 6 FPS at the airports and 10 fps above highly populated areas. My rig is ok, I guess but get lousy fps. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? My settings are below

I am using PMDG 737, REX4 Texture Direct, FTX Global, and Vector.

I admit I'm stumped.. System is great! Even at stock that should outperform my i5 2500 at 4GHz.

Running any special tweaks? Try deleting the FSX config and letting FSX rebuild one on startup.

For fun uncheck the 2x transparency super sampling and just run 8xS AA.

Is any software running in your system tray while FSX runs ? Any java updated or AV scanning etc?

I have Fraps, FScrew, copilot, trackir.

What about your system stability? Have you tested with Prime 95 / Intel Burn Test etc?

How are the temps?

With default vanilla sim you should see around 120-150 fps with default Cessna at rural airports... What do you get outside of payware areas?

I dont have Prime 95/Intel burn Test

120-150 FPS? Outside I usually get around 30 FPS in the PMDG 737

Sounds normal... But I meant in the default Cessna
