October 7, 201411 yr on, ANY flight sim platform I have ever owned and flown....wow.....now averaging 74-80 FPS, but today struck near 130 FPS!, after my down-to-the-single-dust-particle system-wide-cleaning, and taking an EVGA GTX 680 2GB Signature Plus, to its full potential... Climbing out from Quebec, over the St Lawrence heading for CYYZ... Sim P3D v2.4 (had a mains shut-down and file scramble on P3D v2.3...so...I caved...and reinstalled v2.4 so I can be ready for v2.5 when it hits the wild...) My noted system spec's, nothing changed except a most thorough cleaning and a good, stable over-clock. October 7, 201411 yr Author Simply amazing...I had been cheating myself of FPS system performance......and most likely from even first installing the FTX680 two years ago. I am now a total convert to a deep clean every 2 to 3 months...with a circuit cleaning, formulated duster. Wow..... I had cleaned...but only vacuumed and dusted...but never with a formulated cleaner!
