GTN 750 - great on the B55, what about the E55?

Featured Replies

Installation of the GTN 750 addon was flawless. Thanks to the folks at F1 and Milviz.

This is a major upgrade to the Baron. Yes, it looks pretty, but it is what it can do that thrills me the most.

But the GTN doesn't seem to work with the E55. After the install and modifying my aircraft.cfg file for the panels and models, the E55 I was using (flightsim.3, the red livery) disappeared from my available vehicles. Next I tried the German yellow E55 but got an initialization error.

When I reverted the E55 to their original aircraft.cfg files, everything was fine.

Not a big deal, I am quite happy with the B55. Just thought it would be useful info.

Mario, that is because the E55 is in a totally separate aircraft folder from the B55.

To make it work properly, you will need to copy/paste both the panel.GTN and model.GTN folders to the ..\Beech_Baron_E55 Milviz folder, then edit that folder's aircraft.cfg the same way you did the B55's aircraft.cfg file.
