October 12, 201411 yr I've been an RC fan for a long time, but I'm having a hard time getting it working with P3D v2.3 (haven't yet upgraded to v2.4). I've got FSUIPC 3.937 (unregistered) installed and successfully rebuilt the scenery database using makerwys 4.675. However, every time I click Start RC I get the error: Run-time error '9': RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code. Also, my aircraft position in P3D immediately changes to Lat/Lon 0/0 in the middle of the ocean. Any ideas? Thanks! Alden I should add that I'm running everything as admin. Running Win 8.1 64.
October 12, 201411 yr Author I seem to have fixed it! I was using a .pln file produced by http://onlineflightplanner.org/. If I open that file and resave it with P3D then it seems to work.
October 12, 201411 yr P3D requires fsuipc4. (I think it was a typo on your original post.) Latest version here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ What will not work is saving a flight state in progress with RC4 as P3D32 does not save a .flt file that RC can pass along to load an "active" flight such as when practicing approaches. P3D32 saves an .fxml file instead. Loading a regular flight within P3D23 that was saved with the P3D23 file menu to save a flight for loading into P3D23 from its menu will work just fine.
