Auto Step Climb, if you use it, how do you configure it?

Recommended Posts

Wow! A step from FL320 to FL370?  Normal RVSM steps are 2000 ft and changing from even to odd implies a direction change from west to east?

Maybe you are just throwing an example out there off the top of your head... okay with that.

Yes, leave MCP ALT at your initial cruise, the PMDG feature will change the ALT automatically if enabled in auto cruise options. Exactly as explained in the INTRO pg 0.00.96, which of course you read but missed this detail. Right?

Yup, I am a harda** when it comes to using the documentation. Don't mean to be condescending, just rude.

You're saying to leave it at 32000, and it'll automatically change to 37000?

Yes! When the plane starts the step climb the altitude window will automatically change from 32000 to 37000. You don't need to do anything.
