CTD after add-on install

I keep getting a fatal error. some stuff you need to know:

The faulting module is used to check Windows Application compatibility. Never seen this crash before with FSX. Check your drive for errors (right click your C: drive and select Properties, then click on the Tools tab, and then click on error-checking.

 

If no problems scan your system for missing or corrupt system files/drivers - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833.

 

If you went into FSX.exe and changed compatibility settings, then make sure those are removed.

Thanks for some reason the compatibility was set to win 95.
