October 28, 201411 yr Dear 777 pilots Yesterday I accidentally formatted my whole C: drive, which had FSX and the PMDG 777 on it. I read in a topic that the PMDG 777 product key works on 2 computers if used by the same person, and if I planned on reinstalling it then I can go into the FMC and click "deactivate product", allowing me to install it on another computer or the same computer after reinstallling FSX. Anyway, my question is, since I lost my whole FSX and did not deactivate my product via the FMC, am I still using 1 of my available 2 simultaneous uses for my product key or has it reset to 0. If it has not reset to 0, is there a way through the PMDG support system where I can do something along the lines of deactivating my product on all computers which would then reset my product key uses to 0? Thank you in advance, I may not sound clear so please let me know if you need further justification.
October 28, 201411 yr If you run out of activations, just send a support ticket to PMDG. You won't be locked out of your product. Good luck with the reinstall!
October 28, 201411 yr We really no to spread the fact more that Win7 has a build in FREE backup tool that works beautifully! But yes, as said above....if you reinstall..and your key does nit work then just send PMDG a support ticket and they will reactivate your key. Or you can write them a support ticket with your question now.......so that by the time you are done installing your MB drivers, updated them, installed WIN7, updated it, Installed FSX according to one of the great install guides availble (the whole will take you a whole day if you do it right).....in the meantime PMDG might have reactivated your key allready. Good luck. Rob Robson
