pia Storm on FREE radar in fs9

Featured Replies

Greetings, you all know the trick I am sure, if you don't take a look at the real time video I made of my screen while setting a pia with a real thunderstorm in the area. The radar was a real as it gets. And it can be had for nothing. ;-) Just edit a file and put some url links in it.Here is the 3meg movie of the storm while we were holding waiting for it to pass. It is a zip file. I used tinyurl to get the link smaller. yep, you will need a real player or something that will play mov files.http://tinyurl.com/9v9c3

For some reason I have QuickTime installed on my system. I certainly did not install it as a stand alone program. What I would like to know is, does it come with XP or perhaps some other program as part of its install? Any information would be appreciated, so I can make a decision as to whether to uninstall it or not.

Quicktime is from Apple and not installed by Windows XP. Where it came from on your system is anyones guess, but if you ever tried to open a file which required it, you may have inadvertently installed the runtime in order to view the file.

Thanks Jim, I think I should uninstall it then.
