October 30, 201411 yr My Logitech 3d is starting to lose its z-axis and thus is slowly becoming unusable. I don't know too much about the joystick market so I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for some good joysticks. All I want is something whose axis won't die out on me, something that has a throttle, and a good amount of buttons (doesn't have to be a ton, just a good amount), and something that is easy on the wallet. I'd assume things are eventually going to be on sale since the holidays and Black Friday are coming up, so even more expensive recommendations are welcome in the expectation that I could get them on sale within the next few months. Thanks in advance!
October 30, 201411 yr Moderator I've recommended this one to a few people, and I have one myself: http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T-Flight-Hotas-Flight-Playstation-3/dp/B001CXYMFS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414634345&sr=8-1&keywords=thrustmaster+hotas+x Lots of buttons, detachable throttle, twist grip, and adjustable stick resistance.

Looking around I found this also from Thrustmaster: http://www.amazon.com/Hercules-2960706-Thrustmaster-T-16000M-Flight/dp/B001S0RTU0%C2'> How does it compare to the one you suggested?
