April 23, 200521 yr As mentioned in the subject line, I was hoping that someone could post higher resolution screenshots of the PSS Concorde showing the exterior, 2D and Virtual Cockpit. There are no quality shots I could find on their website (all of their screens are of the lower/compressed resolution variety).Thank You for any help in this matter...DarrylBtw...I guess this PSS Concorde was never very popular, no screens ever posted in the forum that I could recall?
April 23, 200521 yr I'm not at my pc right now, but maybe you don't need any screenshots. The best part is the 2D panel (for me, this is not a vc-plane
April 26, 200521 yr I agree with the previous poster on all points. I don't have any screenshots handy on my work computer, but I have some beautiful ones at home in both the Air France and British Airways liveries. It is a very nice-looking airplane, and a lot of fun to fly. One of my most rewarding flight sim moments was when I landed within two minutes of scheduled arrival time.I agree also that this is a pretty complicated airplane and might not get flown as much as some others, but there is a good tutorial and it wasn't too hard for me to learn. It has been about three or four months since I last flew it, but I'm pretty sure I could do it by consulting the documentation. I let the flight engineer handle the fuel, though.I can recommend this airplane without reservation to anyone who is willing to learn how to fly it.
April 28, 200521 yr http://www.fsimcafe.com/Reviews/ShowReview.aspx?ReviewID=9I did a review on it, and included a lot of screenies.
April 29, 200521 yr Great review. One question, can I actually fly the thing from the VC or do I need the 2d panels for certain operations? Having a virtual engineer sounds great, even the dreamfleet 727 turned me off because I had to do the work of 3
April 29, 200521 yr Oh yes, it's a beautiful add-on. IMHO top-notch, together with RFP 747-200 2nd Generation. The 2D panel is the best I have ever seen and VC is also nice though I don't use it. I fly it very often, it's a great fun and I like the fact it needs lots of time learning. This add-on perfectly fits that clich
April 30, 200521 yr I think you can, but many of the buttons and switches (and gauges) are rather small so you could have trouble finding and using them correctly.
