Night Environment - SimStarter advance setting and tweaks
id like to start a tweak and advance setting that can be applied via SimTarter for improved night flight experience

anyone working with Night Environment and SimStarter who's willing to share their settings and recommendation’s
are welcome to comment and discuss the subject here

i will maintain the first post with any "approved by the community" recommendation’s that are found and can be applied via SimStarter for improved night experience

minimize/limit autogen trees and buildings during night flights in FSX.cfg
(my personal settings are displayed)

[TERRAIN]
TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=1376 // 0-12000 default is 4500
TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_BUILDINGS_PER_CELL=907 // 0-12000 default is 4500

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

a tweak i have recently experimented with good results
it seems to give a decent increase in performance on my i5 Yoga
a pre condition must be meet prior to seeting this, frames must be locked in FSX (not unlimited)
(only do one change at a time; to make sure you gain benefit from it; making more than one change at once will confuse you)

[Main]
FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01 // 0.10 0.25 0.33 1.0 2.0

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

have Steve's DX10 fixer installed and all bloom sliders are set to 60%
