Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Trim Wheel ?

Recommended Posts

Some questions regarding it  ( http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/trimwheel.htm ) in order to decide if to spend money on it

The product description says  it's for C172/C182 and 'fly using the actual trim wheel found in Cessna® 172 / 182 aircraft.'.

But there are many other planes that have a trim wheel. Among these are FSX planes that I own like Robin DR 400, Beech Baron B55, Carenado C208, de Haviland Chipmunk, A2A Spitfire. Are trim wheels in these (real life)  similarly to the one found in Cessna's meaning this trim wheel will give almost as good realism in these planes ?

Does anyone know if it works DCS ?

How long is the USB cable ?

I use this trim wheel with the Cessna yoke and rudder pedals. it works fine on all planes when adjusted correctly.   the cable plugs into the yoke right next to it so I never unwrapped it but probably 5 or 6 feet.
