I have been trying to install FS Global 2010 in P3D - I found the Pilot's P3D installer and was succesfully able to install FS Global Ultimate The Americas, but when I load the first DVD and run the install for FS Global it simply sits on 'Pls insert the following installation DVD: FS Global 2010 DVD1'.  Any help would be appreciated.

It takes a very long time to load all the files during setup for this program, even when it's on a HDD. I suggest to copy all the files from the DVD's to a folder on your harddrive, then run the install from there. If it can't copy  the files then you probably have a bad or scratched disk.

 

Edit: does it ask you to check the internet for the newest installer when you run the setup?

This error can occur if

A you have p3d installed in c:/ program files (x86) which should be avoided as it is the worst location to install any sim

B you did not use run as adminsistrator by righ clicking on the installer
