JS4100 FSX crashes after loading Tutorial

Featured Replies

Hi,

today I installed new my PMDG JS4100.

I already own PMDG 737 NGX.

Installation has been no problem.

I wanted to start to load the tutorial 1. When I select it to load, fsx does this and if fsx reaches 100%, fsx crashes.

I have no idea how to repair this?

Has anyone a helpful hint for me?

Thanks!

Thorsten

I can assume things but better to know what you mean by 'crash.'  Do you get any Windows error messages like application has stopped responding, do you want to restart or look for solution... etc. Faulting module? Anything? Or, as sometimes happens, it just closes and you are looking at the desktop (CTD).

Before you select LOAD FLIGHT from FSX Free Flight, which aircraft is showing on the screen (your default aircraft I assume). Do not load any PMDG aircraft on top of another PMDG aircraft.

Also, I assume you are following the Tutorial and you are on pg 8 when you get the 'crash.'

I do not get any error message from fsx.

As reaching 100% I heared a little beep sound and the screen turned to the desktop.

With the task manager I only could close the fsx task.

Full names here please Thorsten.

Okay, CTD when loading the Tutorial flight. What about just starting the aircraft from FREE FLIGHT at any airport default runway?

Try running the installer and selecting REPAIR.  Make sure that you give the PMDG modules permission to run and trust the first time that FSX loads the aircraft. Not giving the required permission will cause a CTD on load (either saved flight or free flight).

Also, you can get help direct from PMDG by going to their web site and follow the link to PRODUCT SUPPORT
