December 1, 201411 yr Greetings, I created a new module in LINDA for the Aircreations ultralight. I used the New button to open up the dialogue. I was able to create the new plane in LINDA. I then deleted the plane from linda/aircraft. I am guessing that's where I may have screwed up. Now I cannot create a module. When I open the dialogue, I get something like this (link to screenshot): https://www.dropbox.com/s/hivlzba0wnss8f8/forLINDA.png?dl=0 Notice that the Create button is greyed out. I didn't get that when I created the Aircreations trike. I don't want to have to reinstall LINDA if I can avoid it. I am using vs 2.5 with the latest FSUIPC, P3D 2.4 and Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks for your help. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM
December 1, 201411 yr Hi Graham There are 2 folders related to each aircraft. Both need to be deleted to get back to a stable conditions. You need to locate the folders \fsx\modules\linda\aircrafts and \fsx\modules\linda-cfg\aircrafts and then delete the folders with the name you entered for your Ultralight. You need not worry about reinstalling LINDA 2.5 as it should not damage any of your set ups. It won't overwrite you config-****.lua files. However, it will not create the problem you may have created by partially deletions aircraft. December 1, 201411 yr Author Hi Andrew, Thanks for the quick reply. The folders are gone from both modules\linda or modules\linda-cfg. Perhaps you should nail me to a tree and take target practice. I am currently on the ground with the A2A C172. Just out of curiosity, I opened up the New aircraft dialogue and 'Bob's yer uncle!' With another aircraft loaded up, I am able to use the New aircraft functionality. Sorry to have taken your time for nothing. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM
December 2, 201411 yr Hi Graham I am pleased you got it sorted. Can you clarify the point about 'with another aircraft loaded up'? Are you saying that the New dialog didn't work with the Ultralight (you tried to create and then deleted) still selected? December 8, 201411 yr Author Andrew, To clarify: I was not able to create, delete or edit an aircraft module unless P3D was open and I had an aircraft loaded. Thanks. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM
December 8, 201411 yr True Graham. That's how it is designed to work. Thanks for clarifying. Good flying. Andrew Gransden Scotland, UK LINDA Support/Developer - VATSIM and BAVirtual - Airbus Flyer i7 1TB SSD GTX980 - FSX/P3D - Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 - FS2Crew
