December 2, 201411 yr Bonjour, Am I right if I say: To replay the last flight with exactly the same weather (upper wind included): 1 Import the last metar file.2 Reuse GRIB Data. Cheers Claude Claude Troncy
December 2, 201411 yr Commercial Member If it's within 24 hours then simply set the Historic Data option and adjust your date and time within the sim. Note, the downloaded METARs only cover the current 800 x 800 mile weather map, so if you fly outside this area the Import file will not be of much use. Also without the Historic option the extracted GRIB data will be for the current time. There is 15 days worth of forecast data inside each GRIB cycle. Stephen :-)
December 2, 201411 yr Author Thank you Stephen, That mean if the distance between origin and arrival is for example 1000 miles, I have to to save metar on departure, and arrival and re inject them during the replay session.. (At the right moment) I was thinking of using the theme functionality (500 miles) but when I disable the live weather engine, I cannot access the "weather options" dialog. Also with those static themes, will I keep the metar, with the different information such as wind t°, QNH... Cheers Claude Claude Troncy
