CTD when trying to save flights

Featured Replies

Hi

If I just load a flight and start it, there appears to be no problem. However I have tried use Rob's tips re VAS efficiency and load a flight, then save it to re-start through the .fxml file. However whenever I click 'save' P3D (v2.4) just hangs up and crashes. I have tried this a few times, and received differing error messages in the event viewer, as below. One relates to a kernal32.dll. I have googles this and there is reference to updated drivers so I have updated through GFE experience, to no avail. The other error message relates to the map viewer. This is interesting as on the couple of occassions when I have used this in-flight, It has also caused a CTD. Any suggestions, details below.

Cheers

I had this problem some time ago.

In the above link there is some explanation by Adam Breed in a Prepar3d forum thread.

I solved removing an aircraft with an error in aircraft.cfg.

Cannot understand how it can crash Prepar3d every time one attempt to save or load a flight, but removing the plene solved the problem.

I read also (cannot find anymore the post) someone having same problem with an AI aircraft or AI products or some corrupted MTL
