I got a message essentially saying this when I plugged in my joystick, and reinstalled drivers, is this a sign that I may need a new joystick, or just a glitch in the system? I haven't really plugged it in but once in the past month or so.

Please post the exact message, because the message "Windows does not accept your Joystick" doesn't exist, otherwise I would have found it when I Googled it.

USB device is not recognized. This device has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.
