December 20, 201411 yr I've tried various things to get a glide slope indication on the HSI in the King Air 350 but, it just ain't happening for me. Does it even have that feature? I'm not too good yet at visual approaches when it comes to the glide slope and a gauge would certainly be nice if I can find a way to get it.
December 20, 201411 yr What approach are you shooting? Are you sure that it is an ILS and not just a LOC approach. FAA Commercial Pilot - Airplane Multiengine Land; Instrument Airplane FAA Commercial Pilot - Airplane Single Engine Land; Instrument Airplane
December 20, 201411 yr Author Hmmmm... OK, I checked and KTVL only has a LOC so, I went to KRNO (Reno) which has ILS and still didn't see any glide slope indication on the HSI or elsewhere.
December 21, 201411 yr Author OK, as usual, it was operator error. I 'thought' that the addon program I was using set the nav radio for me... oops...there I go thinking again. Once I set the radio myself, the glide slope indicator appeared 'like magic' on the right side of the HSI like it's supposed to.
