I recently purchased GNS430 and I am running it under FS9. I am having 2 issues.

1. I can not switch NAV/GPS to NAV when GNS is powered on.

2. FS crashes when I copy /store active FP to GNS storage. Visual C++ message Points to fprintf.c line 55.

 

I hope I am not asking to much but such features would be helpful for training GPS approches etc.

The NAV/GPS is now controlled via the CDI button in the GNS unit.

 

Please provide the flight plan information so we can attempt to reproduce your issue. Also, to be certain... is your OS set to a different language? That too can sometimes cause issues.

Yes, I am running Win 7 in German. The flight was EDBK BKD EDOP ILS24.

Ok... I think this is a language issue...

 

In whatever your "Documents" folder is in the German OS install... create a "Flight Simulator X Files" folder. See if that corrects the problem.
