January 7, 201511 yr Friends, Over the past several weeks, FSX has started to randomly minimize to the desktop often while loading, when paused and occasionally in flight. Over the past few days it has gotten progessively worse. I'm curious if others have had this problem and might offer cures. Also, is this an indicator of an install corruption that will eventually lead to a complete re-install? Couple of observations: Win 7 user, 64 bit I use Avast anti virus and have done a full scan including the "deep" scan on my drives. I put Avast either in gaming mode, or turn off the filters when flying. The problem occured when Avast was not installed It is very hard to restore the flight sim after it minimizes There was a Windows update a few days ago, which is when frequency increased dramatically thanks all.
