January 11, 201511 yr I had this installed on my last computer with Megascenery X Socal and was getting VAS OOMs. This time I left it off and, with sliders full right, my VAS is staying around 1.5 Gig. That's a huge chunk of VAS! I'm wondering if there's a way to pare it down some...take some of their stuff off and still be able to keep some of the goodies like KBUR, KSBP, KLAX, maybe part of downtown. Any thoughts? January 12, 201511 yr I'm not at home so I don't know the files off the top of my head, but there are threads on it. Take out or rename to .off the traffic files. Makes a world of difference.

I'm verrrry curious about which ones you did that on. There are some good things in the scenery. This VAS limit is getting to be a real pill, even for GA. January 14, 201511 yr I'm terribly sorry, it was Aerosoft US Cities Los Angeles that I was thinking of. I actually run both products in conjunction. In that package it is deleteing or renaming the LosAngeles_Traffic.bgl file. I am not sure why you are experiencing the OOM with just megascenery. I have an older system and do not. None the less, unless you are really passionate about road traffic, I would set that slider or manually input it into the fsx.cfg file as zero. It will go a long ways to help especially in an congested area such as Los Angeles.

I thought both were the same product. If you go to Aerosoft and search for Los Angeles, there's only the one product. I'll try backing off on my cars. January 14, 201511 yr And just for clarification, the LosAngeles_Traffic.bgl file affects road traffic (cars) and not air traffic. If you didn't realize that already.
