Cursor and hand keep flashing?

This is something that I just noticed starting to happen. When I start a flight everything is ok. Once I have the plane powered up however I lose the hand cursor in the VC and it just becomes the regular pointer cursor. The hand does not return. 

 

I am using the PMDG 737. When I open up FS2crew the hand cursor returns however when clicking in the VC it goes back to the normal cursor. Is there something I can do to fix this?
