Microsoft .NET Framework Error

Recommended Posts

Not much of a clue as to what specifically is going on here. Received this error last night after a CTD, and received it again just now (although FSX did not crash). Here is the error report:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box."

Obviously there is something wrong with Simconnect. Not sure if the problem can be fixed by the following hotfix but it might be worth a try: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975954
