Night lighting very dim?

I did a flight yesterday that had me landing at Flightbeam's KPHX which is an awesome airport by the way. On approach though the airport basically looked totally dark. Sure I could faintly see the terminals but the runway, approach lighting, and taxiway lighting looked almost DARK. Like sure there was a tiny bit of color but the lights weren't bright and it was basically impossible to follow the taxiways. Is there a way to make night lighting brighter at airports?

Also did another flight too Flytampa KBOS and again the night lighting looked EXTREMELY dark. So I got to thinking maybe it was something on my end that was causing these scenery to display dark airport lighting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
