February 28, 201511 yr Yes, I tried this today, installed vPilot, log with a new account and my airplane did appear in the VATSIM Map
May 29, 201610 yr Yes, you can fly on Vatsim if you are on FSX:SE. The latest client for Vatsim is vPilot which I thoroughly recommend. All you need to do to make it work with Steam edition is to run the three simconnect installers in the FSX directory. Can't exactly remember which folder they are in but a quick google will sort it out. Happy flying!
