February 1, 201511 yr Many of those who operate/own VAs will be familiar with phpVMS. Today, it seems like the site has gone down and a domain expired message has appeared. A whois look-up shows the domain is good until 2016 and that there was a change made to it yesterday (1/31/2015). It would be a shame if the content of that forum was lost, a lot of community support for the VA system which many virtual airlines run. Wondering if anyone has any news as to where the project has gone or if this is a slight technical issue. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."

February 4, 201511 yr Author http://www.integratedpirepsystem.com/products/phpvms its seems like a new website Different system all together, IPS can export its data into the phpVMS system. phpVMS was http://www.phpvms.net but it seems the domain has expired. Talking to a few different people there is hope to revive the forum as the data is still backed up. This will be a wait and see. Hopefully the forum is revived, possibly avsim could host it, as the developer behind the system has basically abandoned the project. The final version has been released under a more lenient license to allow others to keep developing and releasing their own flavor of the system. David Clark (simpilotgroup.com) has his own version of the phpvms which has numerous security fixes, bug fixes, and improvements. That code is hosted on github. February 5, 201511 yr Author The site is back up, looks like the original developer has decided to continue to host forums for the project to allow the community to extend the platform. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
