Grand Caynon by Mega Earth-Trouble Downloading

Recommended Posts

After the download which I did manually, I took off from KGNC ( Grand Canyon Airport ) and the first thing I noticed  was snow on the ground. Well we all know that snow will not be visable with photo scenry. So I took a look at my files and compared MegaEarth Ohio with MegaEarth Crand Canyon and the difference is in Ohio there's a " scenry " file and none in the Grand Canyon. In the Scenry Configurator, I did have to add Grand Canyon after the download, but it does have a check mark next to it. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Last time I installed MSE, I used their auto install program.  I downloaded loaded it to the same directory  as the scenery files are located.  Then I unziped the auto install program and then ran the installer.  It does all the work of installing all the downloaded files.  Have you done this?

After my second install, I'm still seeing snow on the ground. Everything related to FSX is on my " E " Drive. I have Mega Ohio on that drive (It works fine ). When I click on Ohio on the right hand side I see about twenty-five files and at the top is the scenry file.

When I click on MegaCanyon which is right above Ohio on the right I see; Charts on top and below that ; GrandCanyon UltraRes ( only two files that are closed ). When I click on the file " chart " I get one file ( Arizona " When I click on Arizona I get about twenty-five files like sectional charts etc. When I click on  GrandCanyon UltraRes I get ; The file that says " scenry " I click on that then I see a ton of scenry files.

I feel like I'm so close.

I tried once again with the download. I put the download manager along with all the other files together under the folder name " Mega- Caynon ", all on my " E " Drive. When I was done downloading I clicked on Mega- Caynon and instead of seeing scenry near the top , I saw MegaEarth Ultra Res. When I clicked on that I saw " Scenry ". The Scenry folder had a ton of files in it which is normal.

When I opened up FSX to fly in the Grand Caynon , I once again saw snow ( not a good thing in Mega Earth. I also have the Mega-Ohio and Mega - Kentucky . They are listed right below the Grand Caynon. When I open them up " Scenry " is near the top, not MegaEarth Ultra Res. I changed the Ultra Res to Scenry so when I click on that It changes to scenry, but that didn't work. I feel like I am so close. What am I missing ?
