Installation error

Recommended Posts

Trying to install 2.5 and I am getting a weird error. The file it mentions exists and I can go to it.

P3D cannot find the data1.cab which was extracted to your User temporary folder for installation of the product.  You need to go to C:\Users\Richie\AppData\Local\Temp and delete all of the files there as they have corrupted your installation.  Run a registry cleaner like CCleaner and then reinstall P3D with Administrator Privileges.

Tried as suggested and I get the same error. When you say delete all files in Temp do you mean any associated with P3D or all?I only deleted ones from P3D. Thanks for your help.

Resolved it by downloading the individual files for the installer and then running it. Thank You for your assistance.
