February 20, 201511 yr Recently, I had to do a complete uninstall of FSX on my computer. When I tried to reinstall everything was going fine until right at the very end. I got an error message at the very end of the install that said there was a problem with GameuxInstallhelper.dll. I have searched all over trying to find a work-around for this issue. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can I fix it. I'm concerned that with all the $$$ I've spent on payware add-ons I'm going to be out a BUNCH of money. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
February 20, 201511 yr Microsoft has a fix posted on their support site. Deleting the reg keys as advised seems to help a lot of people with this issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968365 Ethan Edelson
February 25, 201511 yr Can I hang on to this thread and ask is there a written procedure for fully removing FSX? I want to do this as I am not happy with various odd effects I am getting and would like a fresh start. Any thoughts please? Thanks Nigel
