Guys & GalsJust got finished installing SimFlyers KPHX, and when I loaded into the normal AWA gates on concourse A, I see this strange flickering strip that basically runs 3/4 of the entire field on the north side of the main concourse. First I thought it was my add-on 30m mesh, but I removed it, and the flickering bar was still there. I added the patch from the website, but no go...In the picture, it's kind of in the mid upper-left...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/118621.jpgAny ideas?Scott

Just a guess, but is it the top of the scenery library list?Also check to make sure you don't have duplicate afcads.You might want to try emailing their support as they promptly reply if nobody here can help fix it

Yeah, it was pretty close when I first installed it, and now it's #1 since I re-installed it a half hour ago (with no luck). The SimFlyers stuff I have sits atop a HUGE listing of MistyFjords add-ons.I've got this and KEWR & KLAS. Neither of the others exhibit this odd flickering behavior. Scott

I have this too, and it didnt start untill I changed my fs9.cfg TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL from 19 to 20 for the Misty Fjords scenery....I would love a fix too.

This is a known bug - see http://www.simflyers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=498 for discussion and patch... In addition to the problem you are encountering, some folks have had problems with FS crashes if FS is ended while you are at KPHX, and there is a 'fall through' problem with one of the gates.DJ

Keep your fingers crossed that all your flashing and/or flickering is gone. In a number of SimFlyer locations (I have all except Italy) I have had this problem in one way or another, and it comes and goes. Currently for example, Terrain adjacent to runways bleeds through at KORD. I recently reinstalled everything and thought that all problems were gone. I know that soon after installation KORD did not have any problem.At one of the Sky Harbor gates (One of the "C"s) I kept crashing into some invisable object as well during pushback, or shortly after taxing from the Gate. I have installed the patch.Still a beautiful piece of work if you can avoid the danger spots.Good luck:RTH
