Bremerton

Featured Replies

Did anyone ever get Mark Smith's Bremerton scenery to work? I have removed the whole thing but still cannot fly in the Bremerton area.. my fs9 closes down when I get close to kpwt. I would love to get the scenery to work as it is a really good rendition of the area. Teecee.

If you have removed the airport, then the culprit is not there. bremerton works fine here.maybe something else... streets, waters, who knows?good luck

Do a search in the FS9Addon Sceneryscenery folder for a AF2_KPWT.bgl. If you fine one, rename it from a bgl to a bak....Then go to that area see if it crashes. I think you an AFCAD file for KPWT that also has a duplicate somewhere.A search for *KPWT.* should turn it up.Joe W.

Yes, it has to be something with your configuration. I've been running it fine and love it. I did a reinstall and it was one of the first airports I reinstalled. Comes with a manual to let you use the fancy features, but I don't think that's your problem. Good luck!billg

Like Joe W said, it must be looking for a duplicate AFCAD file. I have had this problem with other airports. I am using the Bremerton scenery and have no problems with it. It is very close to the real place. I used to fly in there all the time. :DKev

Thanks fellas.. will do the search again.. strange though, I have done a complete re-install of fs9 and had this problem on the proior install. anyway I will let you know how I go, Teecee.
