  1. When you create a flight it's "saved". You have to start with a saved flight. Do what you want, I was just saying what "fixed" mine.
  2. I ran into this also. What I did was save a flight with the A2A Cub with the tiedowns and the door open to Previous Flight . Upon starting later with this as default the plane was stuck. I switched to another plane and back again it it started and I flew it. Also I remember this happening before and I had to re-start with the default start flight ( Friday Harbour) and then go to another airport and save. This will clean out the buggs in the saved flight and you can go back to your position where it "stuck". "stuck"
  3. If this has a USB plug, check the socket. I had some problems with an MS Sidewinder Joystick with the Gear button being random in working. This was caused by a USB socket being Worn a bit and it wasn't making good contact. I bent the sides of the socket in slightly to make a firm contact.

  5. The MB I have is not the most wanted and the processor is a Pentium 4 and there is a 460 nVidia on board to. The MB will only allow 8 gigs of ram. It's low but it's smooth most of the time. Yea ... Thats what they said to me . I quit buying carenado once about 6 years ago and only started back again last year. The reason I quit was over the paint kits they furnished at the time. They were a white bmp with panels and rivets...... They didn't want to share "intelectual secrets".
  6. I have just noticed that the 206's that have the G1000, the red cowl plugs will NOT show. The planes with the Gauges it shows great. Is there a difference in the textures? I have looked and cant find any difference. In fact I have converted 2 of the planes with gauges to the G1000 and they don't show this either. The same planes with the gauges show just fine. I thought this may be a bug. This is a really minor problem. Thanks Joe W. I posted this over at their support site and was told that it would be considered and might be in the next upgrade. I just went there and it said" Solved" I never got a solution or what caused it. Joe W
  7. I've done some more research on this and it is a re-purposed default G1000. But still the Carenado manuel shows that page 21 and I can't get that up. Yes the default G1000 is not supposed to be programable except for local trips or nearest as the GPS is. So ..... I guess I'll just be satisified with what I have. Thanks Guys. Joe W

  9. Could someone tell me how to get the NavData thats shown on page 12 of the manuel? I can use the trip manager to get a programed flight but I CANNOT program it from the G1000. If someone would fill me in on how it works after page 12, please let me know. Also I swapped the texture notes around for Fltsim 5 and 6 and the little red plugs do NOT show when it's in Cold & Dark mode. I get the wheel chocks and pitiot tube flags and the flag for the red plugs but the red plugs are not showing. Am I being too optimistic? Joe W

  11. Timm ..... That is exactly what mine does. Try the Crtl+D and if that works, you have what I have. Annoying as hell. Bert .... Where is that on the panel? Joe W.
  12. Well ..... I finally got where I can program and fly the G1000 panel. I flew from PAJN to PAKT this morning. I got vectored over the mountains for a landing from the south. Upon disingageing the AP I found that the rudder once again doesn't work. If I ingage the AP and then disingage it the rudder doesn't work and it's Ctrl+D all over again. This is the only plane that I have that I have that I have to do this with. Is there something in the airfile that needs to changed?

  14. RJ .... got the base. file but the textures come up blank. Is the file name right? I searched at Avsim and they arent there either.
  15. Ok .... I went to the Fruit Stand and tried to download the base package, then I tried to download the Bahamasair paints. I COULD NOT get either to start. I even registered and got a password and still I could not figgure out how to download either. This does look like the site I need to get it working, though.
  16. Greg .... that is what I'm trying to do. I know it's old, I know it's for FS9, But I have a traffic file that took quiet a while to compile and it's made by me. Only one copy of that file. I have three of these textures and all three have black props. This is the only flaw in the whole thing. I really would like to fix this.
  17. This is the WOAI Dash 8 300. the prop texture is with the main texture.
  18. I tryed with the 32 bit textures. I made sure that I had the alpha in place. Prop is still black when the engines are running. Only change is that clouds and buildings and trees are now in front of the prop.
  19. Itr works fine just the prop part of the texture doesn't work and is black. I have not chaned the texture at all except to try and make the prop part to show as a prop normally would. These are AI made for FS9 and except for the prop work fine. I added the exit info to the aircraft.cfg and it even works the Jetways
  20. I ment Texture layer. when I said texture area. I have cured some of mine by expanding a color layer by 2 or 3 pixels.
  21. The default Dash 8 has the prop textures separate. This one is an AI and the prop is on the sheet with the main textures. Format is DXT3.. Default is 32 bit.
  22. You can also expand the texture area by 2 or 3 pixles and that sometimes helps.

  24. I need a 4 bladed prop texture for FSX that can be inserted in a texture sheet. I have a woai Dash 8 that has the prop texture on the main sheet and I keep getting a black circle when it is running. If I had a texture that will show right I think I can paste it in the main texture and the alpha. I guess I need to know if I should go lighter on the main sheet ( I'm almost totally black now) or should it be done on the alpha ( It's black too now.) Thanks Joe W
