Hello,

   I go in and out of having time for FSX so pardon my ignorance. I have a smooth system so I know I shouldn't mess with it but curios about Directx 10 and WinXP.  My Direct 10 preview button has been missing for some time and I never really cared but after watching You Tube videos am envious of the VC shadows. I have an GEforce GTX 550 TI card with the 344.75 drivers. The FSX is SP2 and again, I did have the button years ago.  When I ran 'dxdiag' it comes up with Direct 9.0c.  What am I missing?? Do I need to upgrade to Win 7 or 8?

WinXP is not capable of supporting DX10, you need Vista, Win7, or Win8. Sorry
