I think I may have found the issue

Nevermind.. one of my scenery was in the wrong place... while I was editing the scenery.cfg file manually

Did you make a backup of the file before installing the photo work? Looks like something is taking out the references to FTX or UTX that would be needed to properly display the water.

 

From my unpleasant experiences with add on installers, I try to make sure most everything has been backed up before starting to add anything new.
