This guide: http://www.widar.no/prepar3d/nVidiaSLIinP3D.pdf saved my day :) 

 

I didn`t use the afr-friendly p3d.exe or the nvi profile but i used the nvidia control panel settings and now with nearly everything in the scenery tab set to maximum i get a smooth flight experience. 

 

even when my fps counter only shows 20-25 fps i nearly don`t notice any stutter and smooth flying great.

 

My test settings where:

 

PMDG 777-300

KSFO ( p3d standard airport)

Weather: Fair Weather 

 

Sliders in Scenery all full right.

 

 

great finally i get the performance i expected.
