Elevation Bug with FSX!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am currently having a problem with FSX and I haven't been able to fix it on my own.  I think I did something without knowing and now, I can't fix it.  For example, regardless at which ever airport I start with, my elevation seems to be below sea level and the rest of my sceneries show up at about 10 feet above me.  Also, when I zoom out from the top view into the global map, a sandy color polygon surrounds my location.  Again, this is everywhere.  I have tried to see if it had to do with any of my sceneries but since its happening with all of them, I now think the problem is with FSX itself.  I would really appreciate it if anyone could please help me fix the problem?.

Thanks,

Daniel

Do you have Vector installed?

What were you doing when the problem occurred?

Hi,

No, I don't have Vector Installed.  It happened at the same time I was installing FlyTampa Copenhagen and Aerosoft Larnaca X when all of the sudden I noticed the change in elevations.  I have already contacted FlyTampa and Aerosoft support, but I have not heard from them yet.  But I still can't explain why it is happening at every other airport besides these two.
